Our group wanted to do something on the Beatles because we all share a love for music and we wanted to bring back the Beatles Invasion that impacted the world and still does today. The Beatles inspired American legends through their unique rock music. After researching further into the Beatles, we decided that this was going to be our topic for NHD. This is a major turning point in history because music truly has not been the same since the introduction of it to the world.
When we conducted our research we separated our information into primary and secondary sources. The information we found from our topic came from reliable internet sources. The primary sources were found either in historic newspapers from their time or TV interviews.
For the NHD, we have chosen to create a website in order to present the information for our project accurately. There are a few reasons. The first reason is that there is so much music involved with this topic and to present it, we are applying technology to be able to showcase their world-changing music and its impact. Our information will be presented on a website that we created to show information gained about our topic and displaying sections of the Beatles and their invasion.
Throughout history, there have been many inspirational people, ideas and events that have made an impact on history. The Beatles played an important role in forming present day music. As they formed in England, their music spread to America and they became known to what is called the British Invasion. They held their first American concert in New York. From their American debut, they became one of the most popular bands in their time. They made it into the multi-million music industry, making their first album and selling over 2,000,000 million copies. People in America were in love with this ever-lasting popular band. Their music inspired their fans and the way people thought about music. Except for the love of Elvis Presley, no one really ever took an interest in listening to music, but once the Beatles came into the picture, America went crazy. Even the Beatles's fashion trend impacted the world. For example, the Beatles would always wear matching suits and even to this day, bands display the same trend. Such as, The Wanted. The Beatles represent a turning point in history because although the band broke up, they are still popular today. Music would not be the same as it is today without the Beatles influence. This is why they are so important to history and have forever impacted it.
